The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) recently hosted the 11th edition of its flagship awards property EEMAX Global Awards 2019. The event brought together leaders and learners from across the nation to celebrate, cherish and commemorate the biggest successes on a night dedicated solely to Events, Entertainment and Experiential!
The show began with delightful performance by Voctronica. The band enthralled the audience through its soulful music. Popular actor and comedian Ali Asgar, or as the nation knows him, Dadi, won hearts with his hilarious crowd work!
Different segments of the awards were hosted by industry favourite Gitikka Ganju Dhar along with Shivani Wazir, Sachin Kumbhar, Gunjan Utreja and Nitin Arora. Raja Mukherjee was joined on stage by 13 young kids ranging from 9-20 years old from “The Dharavi Dream Project” who were trained and mentored by him. Together they put up the anthem for EEMAGINE 2019.
During the awards night, Kailash Gahlot, Honorable Transport Minister, Delhi, addressed the gathering and discussed possible avenues of collaboration between the government and EEMA to help facilitate more success stories within the Events, Entertainment, Experiential industries. Also, honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia thanked the continuous contribution of the massive Indian Events Industry towards nation’s success.
The awards celebrated and recognized with top honours given away in 9 categories including Corporate Events, Sporting EventsWedding And Social Events, Best Entertainment Content For A Wedding Or Social Event, Activations, Exhibitions, Marketing & Digital Integration, Best Design, Signature Event Of The Year and Venues.
Finally, Sanjoy K Roy, President, EEMA thanked all our partners to strive to make EEMAGINE 2019 and EEMAX GLOBAL a great success!
EEMA received hundreds of entries from across the industry and all of them were a part of their collective success story. However, some of them deserved special recognition.
